• Unforunately there is no formal training on this device other than through the two sole distributors of the patented device. As a result, we have done our best to explain the differences between the various certifications below. • Calmare Certified™ treatment facilities are locations whose healthcare professionals have completed a comprehensive training regimen provided by Calmare Medical Specialist Trainers. Calmare's trainer has over 16 years of personal experience using the device and she also trained alongside Dr. D'Amato who brought the device to the United States. Calmare Certified treatment facilities have satisfied specific certification requirements and demonstrate a continuing expertise with Calmare Pain Therapy Treatment. This certification complies with a continuing effort to meet FDA quality requirements. They are willing to train anyone who owns an authentic Calmare or Scrambler Therapy device in order to ensure a consistent standard of use and care.
• Scrambler Therapy "Official" Certified - Multi day training with the distributor of the Scrambler Therapy device. This company spun off from the original Calmare Therapy and created a competitor company, but the two devices are both patented, covered under the FDA guideline and perform exactly the same. It's all marketing beyond that. They have been less forthcoming about what exactly their trainig entails. They will not train anyone on the device unless they purchase from their company.
  
• Advanced Scrambler Therapy Certified - A training offered by the Scrambler Therapy company for an additional cost. The training is located in Rome under the inventor, hopefully to review and learn about complex cases as available in a hospital environment. It's not as impressive as it sounds from those who have attended. it's hit or miss based upon the cases available at the time and should not be considered any indication of a providers experience as new providers have been allowed to attend the training and earn the certification immed.
